Privacy policy

This page explains what we collect when you shop with Orange Cat Beard Co., why, and who else sees it. The short version: only what it takes to get your order to you, and we never sell it.

What we collect

• Your email address, to send your order confirmation, shipping updates and, if you create an account, sign-in links.
• Your name and shipping address, collected at checkout, to deliver your order.
• Your order history: what you bought, when, and what you paid.

We never see or store your card number. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe on their secure checkout page.

Accounts

An account is optional. It holds only your email address; there is no password, because you sign in with a link we email you. Orders placed with the same email before you created an account are linked to it, so you can see them all in one place.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies that the shop needs to work: one keeps your cart and, if you sign in, your session, and an optional one keeps you signed in for up to 14 days. Your light or dark theme choice is saved in your browser. We use no advertising or tracking cookies and no third-party analytics.

Who else sees your information

We share it only with the services that run the shop, and only what each needs:

• Stripe processes payments and calculates sales tax.
• Resend delivers our emails to you.
• Google Workspace hosts our inbox, if you write to us.
• The shipping carrier receives your name and address.
• Our hosting provider stores the shop's data on our behalf.

We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your account and anything not needed for those records.

To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, email support@orangecatbeard.com. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
